How Bennett Design digs deeper.

Jennifer Torok has been influencing corporate interior design for a quarter of a century. Recently, she shared secrets about the rising success of Bennett Design and how the corporate tagline “Dig Deeper” came to be.
After 20 years at Bennett Design, I’ve come to realize that exceptional design doesn’t begin with our qualifications, but with a deep understanding of the "why" behind every project. It starts with asking the right questions to uncover the right approach.
Having created, reviewed, and approved thousands of our proposals, I know how powerful thoughtful questions are in shaping a project methodology that’s uniquely tailored to each client’s needs.
At Bennett, our success stems from a deep curiosity and an unwavering attention to detail —a mindset that’s earned us an 85% project proposal win rate and, more importantly, has won our clients’ trust project after project.
We dig deeper.
This is our promise that guides everything we do. It’s not just about finding solutions. We uncover the opportunities that turn good projects into great ones.
Here’s what digging deeper looks like in action:
Your Vision, Our Starting Point.
We start by getting to know you; your business, your goals, and what makes your team tick. Our proprietary DIG™ Workplace Strategy Process is a deep dive to align your corporate goals and people agenda with your physical space. The result? Spaces that not only look amazing but, help your business and people perform better. We use real insights gathered from your people to shape a space that’s flexible, future-ready, and a true reflection of your brand and culture.
We Are Business-Minded.
We see your space as more than just walls and furniture; it’s a smart business tool. That’s why we approach every project with a clear strategy, blending creative ideas with real-world practicality. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between form and function. Our mix of thoughtful planning and fresh thinking helps us create spaces that look beautiful and work even harder for your business. That’s what sets us apart.
The Details Matter to Us.
We’re all about the details, right from the first visioning session to the final construction drawings. Why? Because in our line of work, the little things don’t stay little for long. Miss something small, and suddenly you’re looking at construction changes, delays, budget issues, and costly headaches. So yes, we sweat the small stuff because it’s what keeps the big stuff on track.
We Communicate. A Lot.
We believe in proactively keeping communications open, clear, and collaborative from day one. You’ll always know what’s going on with your project—no guesswork, no surprises. Our clear processes and organized methodology mean we stay connected, keep you updated, and make sure you are involved every step of the way. That’s just how we work.
We Leave Ego at the Door.
We don’t measure success by how good our portfolio looks. We measure it by the successful impact of our projects and the strength of the relationships we build. We deliver what is in the best interest of our clients because when our clients win, we win. That’s why over 90% of our work comes from people who’ve worked with us before. We are in this with our clients for the long term, and not just the moment.

We Design with the Future in Mind.
Change is a part of business success, and our client’s offices must be ready to adapt. That’s why designing spaces with flexibility in mind is so important to staying prepared for what’s next. Futureproofing isn’t only about adaptability; it’s also about creating healthy interiors and making choices that protect our planet. Doing things sustainably isn’t just a good idea, it’s the right thing to do. With every project, we include the Bennett Pure Design™ Sustainability report as a value-added service. It gives our clients a clear picture of the sustainable materials and methods we’ve used, all while prioritizing the mental and physical well-being of their people. We’re always evolving to deliver smart, responsible, and future-ready solutions.
Digging deeper is more than a process. It’s our commitment.
If you’re looking to assess your commercial space needs, we’d love to dig in and help.
