We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Department at our Uxbridge office. What You'll be Doing

The Accounting & Payroll Administrator is responsible for the full accounting cycle and regular financial activities of the firm in addition to administering payroll. The Accounting & Payroll Administrator also serves as a point of contact for internal and external clients with respect to invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as account reconciliations. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

  • Payroll

  • Invoicing

  • Administration

  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

  • Government Remittances

 

Required Knowledge & Qualifications

 

  • Post secondary education in Accounting

  • 5+ years of experience preferred

  • Payroll experience required

  • Ceridian experience is an asset

  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel) and QuickBooks Online (QBO)

  • Experience in Del Tek Vantage Point in an asset

 

Skills/Abilities/Competencies

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial concepts, practices and relevant legislation

  • Proven ability to analyze and organize financial data in order to generate reports

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to foresee problems and act on them

  • Strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of the business to effectively interpret and anticipate needs

  • Strong team-player that thrives in a team environment

 

Position Details 

Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid
Job Hours: 4 days/30 hours per week. Scheduled hours are flexible and can be discussed between the company and the candidate
Office Location: Uxbridge, ON
