We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Department at our Uxbridge office. What You'll be Doing
The Accounting & Payroll Administrator is responsible for the full accounting cycle and regular financial activities of the firm in addition to administering payroll. The Accounting & Payroll Administrator also serves as a point of contact for internal and external clients with respect to invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as account reconciliations. Responsibilities include:

Required Knowledge & Qualifications

Post secondary education in Accounting
-
5+ years of experience preferred

Payroll experience required
-
Ceridian experience is an asset
-
Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel) and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
-
Experience in Del Tek Vantage Point in an asset
Skills/Abilities/Competencies

Demonstrated knowledge of financial concepts, practices and relevant legislation

Proven ability to analyze and organize financial data in order to generate reports

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to foresee problems and act on them

Strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of the business to effectively interpret and anticipate needs

Strong team-player that thrives in a team environment
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid
Job Hours: 4 days/30 hours per week. Scheduled hours are flexible and can be discussed between the company and the candidate
